Arthur Lee Covington, 82, of Adel, GA, passed away on Friday July 4th, 2025. He was born on September 3rd, 1942 to JD and Alice Nails Covington in Adel, GA. He was the first born of six children. He was a graduate of The Cook County Training School and also served in The United States Army. He was the proud father of four boys. His love, laughter, and memories will always be cherished.

He was preceded in death by his parents; JD and Alice Nails Covington; two sons, Brian Covington and Napolean Stafford, and his siblings, Geraldin Covington Brachsher, Joseph Covington, John Durrell Covington "Joe", and Turner Covington.

Mr. Covington leaves to cherish his memories his sons; Kenneth Covington and Shannon Lee Covington, two daughter In laws; Chris Covington and Nia Covington, his brother; Willie Covington, sister n law; Carol Covington, step-daughter: Tia St. Laurent, six grandchildren: Brian Covington Jr., Hanaan Covington, Trinity Covington, Latese Covington, Neriah Stafford, and Zion St. Laurent, and a long time friend that was always by his side; Ben Pickett. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
