Mr. Clifford McCormick was born on February 14th, ,1949 to the late Artis McCormick and Ruth E. Wilcoox. He attended Cook County Training School where he played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He lived in Adel, GA for many years after graduating then shortly after he joined the United States Marine Corps and was a private E-1 combat soldier. He later moved to Lake City, Florida, where he became a member of New Life Ministry (Lake City, FL). Clifford departed his life and was called home April 12th , 2026 at his residence.

Mr. McCormick was preceded in death by his parents; Artis and Ruth McCormick; sister, Martha Nell McDonald (Joe) and Dorothy Curry; brothers, Robert Lee McCormick (Helen)., Harold McCormick (Betty), Wayne McCormick, Clinton McCormick, and Artis McCormick Jr.; and his beloved daughter, Sherell Rena Thompson.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his daughter, Arlette Renee Jackson of Adel, GA.; his siblings, Mr. William A. McCormick of Jacksonville, FL., Rev. Willie McCormick (Paulette) of Warner Robins, GA., Mrs. Willene Whitson of St. Petersburg, FL., Mr. Edward McCormick (Jutta) of Spangdahlem, Germany; a special and favoritee niece, Deidra Patterson (Larry) of Adel, GA.; eight grandchildren, Justin Jackson, David Butler, Jr., Jeremy Jackson, Tavorise Jones, Shamaya Davis, Devonte Williams, Jr., and dRyan Thomspn, Jr.; as well as five greatgrand children,; best friend, Betty Robinson, and a special friend, Tony Coleman. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends including military battlemens.
