Gary Clark Williams was born October 24, 1962, to the late Fred Williams, Sr. and the late Georgia Griffith Williams in Adel, GA.

Gary attended Cook County Public School System. He held a number of jobs throughout his life. Gary was always fixing something for someone, and because of his helping hand, he was well known by many.

He leaves to cherish his memories: fiancé, Barbara Allen; sons, Clanthy Jackson of Valdosta, Ga. and Serious McCloud of Adel, GA.; two stepchildren, Catherine Jackson (Keebo), Calvin Brown (Monique) of Tifton, GA.; brothers, Gather Anderson (Caroline) of Adel, Ga.; Dewayne Mims (Shamley) of Sparks, Ga.; Dimitrius Holms (Barbara) of Cedartown, GA.; James Battle Simmie of Sparks, GA.; sisters, Cory Sims and Eunice Lenoir of Sparks, GA.; and Niya Wayford (Clifford) of Cedartown, GA.; grandchildren, Travis Roberts, Tarrell Roberts, D’Antonio Fairrell, Tiana Avant, and Shirah Jackson and 6 great granddchildren.

Preceding him in death was his father, stepmother, mother, and stepfather; brothers, Cass Williams and Fred Williams, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Harris and sister-in-law Annie Williams of Valdosta, GA.; mother-in-law Mattie Tripp of Tifton, GA. nephews, nieces, and many more family members.
