Mr. Hollie Robinson III was born on April 9, 1941, in Adel, Georgia, to the late Mr. Hollie Roberson Jr. and Mrs. Ola Mars Troutman Roberson. He attended Cook County Training School in Adel, Georgia, where he received his education and graduated. On March 18, 1962, he was united in holy matrimony to, Ms. Bobbie Jean Dobbin of Lenox, Georgia. Their loving union was blessed with six beautiful children. Mr. Robinson proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army, where he dedicated 27 years of honorable service before retiring. Following his military career, he devoted his time to living his best life and also became a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Adel, Georgia.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mr. Hollie Roberson Jr. and Mrs. Ola Mars Roberson; his sisters, Edna M. Claxton, Lucille Paige, Kathleen Hines, Agnes Clements, and Annie Jean Mosley; and his cherished daughter, Debra Robinson-McKenney.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving sister, Betty Sue Miley; his daughters, Demita G. Williams of Griffin, Georgia, Diane Traylor (Teddie Sr.) of Columbus, Georgia, Deola Robinson of Columbus, Georgia, and Dewanna Robinson of Adel, Georgia; and his son, Hollie Robinson IV of Columbus, Georgia.
He also leaves a legacy of love through his beloved grandchildren: Joanna Warren, Daisha Birdine (Myrick), Kimberlyn Rodgers (Will), Kisha Kelley (Chris), Kia Robinson, Dyamond Huff, and Teddie Traylor Jr. (Cynthia); his treasured great-grandchildren, Gabby and Keshawn; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to two devoted friends, Crystal Neal and Nicole Bolden, for their unwavering love, support, and kindness.
Mr. Hollie Robinson III’s life was defined by faith, service, love, and dedication to his family and community. His legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed.
