Sister Ida Lee Hill, a loving mother, grandmother, sibling and friend was born in the beautiful month of April on the 2nd day of the great year of 1931. She was born in Gray, GA to the late Mr. Horace Garrett and the late Mrs. Carrie Bell (Brown) Garrett. She departed from her physical home on February 28,2017. She leaves to cherish her one of a kind smile and charismatic personality, two (2) grandsons, Mr. Rodney (Ashley) Allen Gilmore, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA and Mr. Theodore Walker, Jr. of Union, SC,· five (5) sisters, Ms. Josephine Garrett of Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Joann (Laymon) Inman of Sparks, GA, Ms. Ann Garrett of Sparks, GA, Ms. Juanita Davis ofSt. Petersburg, FL and Mrs. Wilma (John) Johnson of Louisville, GA,· one (1) brother, Mr. Sylvester Garrett of Brooklyn, NY and a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her two (2) children, Phyllis Lynette Hill and John Hill; a loving husband, Lucius Hill; four (4) sisters, Carrie Bell Merritt, Lucille Young, Julia Jefferson and Mattie Mae Witherspoon; three (3) brothers, Worrest Garrett, Leroy Garrett and Willie Garrett.
