Sister Inez Savoyia Shelton was born on January 14th, 1941, to the late Hardy and Lillie Wilcox, in Adel, GA, where she was educated through the Cook County Training School. During her years of labor, she was employed by C & D Sportswear and later became a private home care provider. She joined St. James A.M.E. Church at an early age and later on received Christ into her life. She was a loving mother and caring friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends at home on her front porch. On Friday. January 21, 2022, she departed this life to be with the Lord .Sister Inez Savoyia Shelton was preceded in death by her husband George Shelton, her son Michael Inman, her sister Thelma Coleman, and three brothers: James Roberts, Leroy Wilcox, and Raymond Wilcox. Sister Inez Savoyia Shelton leaves to cherish her memories four sons: Frederick(Clemmie) Foster of Sparks, GA, and Eric (Gloria) Foster of Tifton, GA; George Jr,(Shirley) of Sarasota FL. and Thon Rice of St, Petersburg FL; three daughters: Bridgett (Elkanah) Martin of Hinesville, GA, and Regina (Joel) Adkinson of Sparks, GA. and Judy Bernard of Detroit, Mich.; five sisters: Mildred Tippins ,Willa Kaye Cornelius, Patricia Wilcox, and Shari (Curtis) Jenrette, all of Adel, GA; and Linda Roberts of Hinesville, GA; two brothers: John Wayne Wilcox of Adel, GA, and Joseph (Rudine) Wilcox of Sparks GA; a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
