He leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Micheal Sheffield of Houston, Texas, and Jeffery Sheffield (Camille) of Ocala, Florida; six grandchildren; five sisters: Joann Simmons of Valdosta, Ga., Betty Adams (Anzavino) of Fayetteville, N.C., Ollie Faye Scott, Vinell Covington, and Idell Sanders (Solomon), all of Adel, GA.; three brothers: David Johnson (Betty) of Valdosta, Ga., Elonnie Johnson of Adel, GA., and James Johnson (Barbara) of Warner Robins, GA.; one aunt, Bernita Jennings; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
