Ms. Jennifer Belcher was born Feburary 6th, 1971, at Adel Memorial Hospital to Maggie L. Newsome and the late Pete Tyrone Belcher. She attended Cook High School where she obtained her high school diploma. She went on to attend Moultrie Tech, where she also obtained her RN certification.

Jennifer loved love. Jennifer loved her mother and taking care of her mother. Jennifer was a beautiful person inside and out. Laughing, dancing, and gambling.....our ole girl loved her a good casino slot machine, and tickets. She loved shopping and her love for her grandchildren will forver be unconditional and unmatched.

When most people seen her they just saw a hardworking woman, but when we looked at her we sae a strong beautiful warrior. A strong black woman carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She will be remembered for her love, her smile, her ambition, her easy going spirit, but most of all her compassion for others.

Jennifer departed this life on January 28th , 2026. She will be deeply missed and forever loved and cherished.

She was precded in death by her father, Pete Tyrone Belcher, & her sister, Sharon Y. Belcher. as well as four grandchildren; Cedric, Sh' maya, Jo' naevia, & Sy' cere.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters; Sharon Yvonne Smith and Saneria Janae Belcher, her one and only son; Yurg' godsur Darius M. Belcher, Sr., god daughters; Jada Wilson and Kayla Tippins; her beautiful mother, Maggie Louise Newsome, siblings; Darrell &Julia Belcher, Christopher & Mary Lissimore, Vickie Newsome, and one other brother; aunts, Lovely Beverly, Rose, and Yvonne; uncles, Ronnie, Aaron, and Nate; a loving God mother, Mattie May Phillips; 12 grandchildren, 7 nieces, & 7 nephews; her bestfriend, Deionna Brodl, and her favorite cousin more like brother, Steve D. McMillian & her cousin Charlotte Washington. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
