Mr. Jimmy Lee Johnson, Sr. was born April 17, 1956 in Crisp County, Cordele, Georgia to the late Jimmy Weldon and the late Eva Mae Johnson. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Jimmy was a faithful member of Freedom Worship Church in Lenox, Georgia. His faith was strong and he believed in God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Weldon and Eva Mae Johnson, two sisters; Betty J. Daniels and Lillie Bell Alford. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving wife, Cora Lee Johnson; four sons, Jimmy (Denitra) Johnson, Jr., David Yancy, Titus Jackson and Pres-ton Moore; three daughters, Keaiahh Pool, Buffy (Adrian) Uter and Lucretia (McSwain Jr.) Hardy; one sister, Gloria (Nathanial) Byron, Sr.; one broth-er, Robert Johnson, Sr., significant other Jackie Reed; grandchildren, Alexis Hurley, Tamiya Zellner, Aneecia Zellner, Kadien McClendon, Aubreanna Yancy, and a host of other loving grandchildren; one great granddaughter, Madison Cooper; six sisters-in-law, Rosa Reed, Faye Moore, Marie Moore, Willie Osby, Annie (Curtis) Magshan, and Patricia (Larry) Green. He was a best friend and godfather to Jimmy John-son, Jr. and Ronnie Green. He had a special cousin, Jeanette S. Gibbs. He was blessed to have many nieces, nephews, cous-ins and sorrowing friends. He will be missed.
