Mr. Mardavin Deon Mays, age 31, died at home in Norcross, Georgia on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Mardavin was born February 24, 1986 in Adel, Georgia to Pagette Mays and David Taylor. He moved to Daytona Beach, Florida when he was a young child. He attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida where he received his High School Diploma. While in High School, he did a dual enrollment at Advanced Technology College where he studied Computer Technology. After completing his education, he and his fiancé moved to Norcross, Georgia where he obtained a job with Publix. Survivors include his father, David Taylor of Tifton, Georgia; his mother. Pagette Mays (Antuarn) of Deland, Florida; his stepfather, Samuel Martin, Sr., pf Mashville, Georgia; grandfather, Maceo Taylor, Sr., grandmother, Maxie Sinkler (John) of Adel, Georgia; fiancé, Latoya Chandler of Norcross, Georgia; four brothers, Samuel Martin, Jr., Demarkus Taylor, Chris Taylor, and Keyhion Outland; two sisters, Shantel Martin, and Amber Haggins, uncles, Michael Thomas, Marvin Thomas, Andre Johnson, Travis Joiner, Eddie Miles (Louise), Maceo Taylor, Jr., Aubrey Taylor, Stacy Taylor, Michael Taylor,(Kimberly), and Darrell Wilson; aunts, Courtney Young, Gail Hemingway (David), Erma Davis (William); great aunt, Beverly Mays; great uncle, McKinley Mays, Jr. and a multitude of cousins and extended aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sallie M. Taylor.
