Mr. Willie Charles Brown, Sr., was born November 2, 1928 in Brooks County, Georgia to the late Starling Brown, Sr., and the late Ella Mae Brown. Willie Charles met and married the late Katie L. Brown in 1955. To that union, twelve children were born; Jerry L. Davis, Willie Mae Walton, Shirley Hundley and Johnny L. (Melanie) Brown, all of Valdosta, Georgia. Tony Brown, Dublin, Georgia, Ella Mae (Richard) Brown and Michael Brown, both of Adel, Georgia; one sister, Elizabeth Freeman, Vero Beach, Florida and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie L. Brown; daughters, Savannah Brown Hart, Joann Brown Hamilton; sons, George W. Brown, Willie Brown, Jr. and Rolly Gilbert, one sister, Ida Mae Freeman; one brother, Starling Brown, Jr.
