Mrs. Addie B. Booker was born on July 8, 1928 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Creamie Clark and Wilbur Neal. She passed away January 6, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. In 1976, Mrs. Booker was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and throughout her life she shared with others the Good News of God's Kingdom. Sis. Booker had faith in Jesus Christ's promise of the resurrection, spoken of at John 5:28,29; and family and friends look forward to being reunited with her.
She was employed Amoco Fabrics and Fibers Co in Nashville, Ga where she retired. She was married to Charles Benjamin Booker on September 9, 1959; she was preceded in death by her husband, one son Benjamin Franklin Booker, her mother, Creamie Clark, father, Wilbur Neal, a sister Natalie Henley, a grandson Malik Williams and a great granddaughter Jaylen Fiveash.
She leaves to mourn her passing one sister Mary Ann Harris of NJ. Two brothers: Tommy Durr, Sr., of NJ, and Johnny Durr, Sr.(Majorie) of Nashville; two sons James Overstreet(Cynthia) of Tifton, Ray Charles Booker of Adel; three daughters: Shirley Covington (Louis), Brenda Threat (Harvey). Addie Rockmore (Richard) all of Adel; eleven granddaughters: Dorothy, Deloris, Desiree, Kenya(Maurice), Sharon(Mark) Lisa, Satara (Greg), Amber (Kendrick), Keisha, Tiara, Jalisa; Six grandsons: Joseph, Derrick, Christopher (Latrice), Benjamin Jr., DuJuan, Jasper, Eight great grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will sincerely miss her.
