Willie was born on February 18th, 1960, in Adel, Georgia, to the late Willie Joe Hewitt and Blondine Hewitt. He attended Cook County schools.

Throughout his working years, Willie was employed by Del-Cook Lumber and Aluminum Finishing until the companies ceased operations. He later worked at Chaparral Boats until becoming disabled.

Willie enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He especially loved watching Western television shows.

Mr. Willie Frank passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. In addition to his parents, the late Willie Joe and Blondine Hewitt, Willie was preceded in death by his sisters, Cathy Hewitt and Sharon Hewitt, and his great-grandchild, Ky'Vion Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: Vincent Hewitt of Sparks, Georgia; Sharon (Alan) Newham of Canton, Georgia; Martini Hewitt of Valdosta, Georgia; and Salathiel (Christopher) McLauchlin of Sparks, Georgia.

He is also leaves behind three sisters, Theresa Reaves, Debra (Larry) Mathis, and Juanita (Johnathan) Jenrette; one brother, Joseph Hewitt Sr.; all of Adel, Georgia; his special friends, Serpora Luden-Hewitt (former wife), Rodney Tippins, Martha Williams, and Joann Rockmore, all of Adel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
